We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive to generate leads, build client relationships, and drive business growth for our Digital Marketing and Event Management services.

The ideal candidate should be confident in meeting business owners, marketing teams, HR teams, corporate decision-makers, hotel and resort owners, and brand managers. This role requires strong communication skills, disciplined follow-up, market understanding, and the ability to present our services clearly and professionally.

 Job Description

Lead Mining & Prospect Research

  • Identify potential companies, brands, SMEs, corporates, hotels, institutions, and business owners through LinkedIn, social media, Google search, company websites, business directories, referrals, and networking.
  • Research each prospect to understand their business, current digital presence, possible marketing needs, event requirements, decision-makers, and potential opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a qualified lead database with company name, contact person, designation, email, phone number, LinkedIn profile, industry, requirement type, and follow-up status.

Digital Marketing Business Development

  • Identify clients who may require website development, social media marketing, branding, content creation, SEO, lead generation campaigns, digital advertising, and online visibility improvement.
  • Work with the internal digital marketing team to develop customer-segment-wise campaign ideas, outreach strategies, pitch notes, and communication plans.
  • Speak with prospects to understand their marketing challenges, explain suitable digital solutions, coordinate proposals, and support the closure process.

Event Management Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for corporate events, exhibitions, expos, product launches, employee engagement programs, offsites, conferences, roadshows, brand activations, and corporate engagement programs.
  • Research companies and identify the right decision-makers such as HR heads, marketing heads, admin teams, procurement teams, business owners, and event managers.
  • Coordinate with the internal event team to understand client requirements, prepare proposal inputs, support costing, manage follow-ups, and ensure smooth handover after confirmation.

Prospect Study, Proposals & Follow-through

  • Work closely with the internal team to study potential prospects, understand their business needs, and identify how our services can be positioned effectively.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, pitch documents, cost estimates, and client-specific communication based on the prospect’s requirement.
  • Follow through consistently with prospects after meetings and proposals, ensuring timely communication, next steps, clarifications, and closure support.

Calling, Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Make outbound calls, cold calls, follow-up calls, and handle inbound leads to generate new business opportunities.
  • Use LinkedIn and professional networking platforms to connect with decision-makers, establish contact, and initiate business conversations.
  • Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients through regular follow-ups, professional communication, and clear understanding of their requirements.

CRM, Reporting & Sales Discipline

  • Use the CRM system to capture all lead details, call updates, meeting notes, proposal status, follow-up dates, client requirements, and closure progress.
  • Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports on leads generated, calls made, meetings scheduled, proposals shared, and business closed.
  • Ensure every sales activity is documented properly so that the pipeline remains clear, trackable, and actionable.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be smart, confident, articulate, and disciplined in the complete sales process.

The candidate should be able to research companies, identify the right contacts, use LinkedIn effectively, work with internal teams, support proposal preparation, maintain CRM updates, and follow up with prospects until closure.

Experience

Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, digital marketing sales, event management sales, client servicing, corporate sales, advertising, hospitality sales, or B2B services.

Freshers with excellent communication skills, strong research ability, and interest in sales may also apply.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline.

BBA, MBA, Marketing, Mass Communication, Hospitality, or Event Management background will be an added advantage.

The Idel Candidate

  • Lead the entire sales cycle & Achieve monthly sales objectives
  • Qualify the customer needs, Negotiate and contract & Master demos of our software
Experience & Qualification
