Role Overview
We are looking for a customer-focused and organized Telecaller to join the TeraStay team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests inquiring about accommodations. You will handle inbound calls (95%), understand guest requirements, and book rooms from TeraStay’s network of partnered hotels, resorts, and homestays. Occasional outbound follow-ups may be required to confirm bookings or share updates.
This is a full-time, in-office role with a 6-day work week. We value excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- • Handle inbound calls from prospective guests inquiring about room availability, amenities, and pricing across TeraStay’s partner properties.
- • Understand guest requirements (dates, number of guests, preferences, budget) and suggest suitable accommodations from the partner network.
- • Book rooms directly through TeraStay’s systems or coordinate with partner properties to confirm reservations.
- • Perform outbound follow-up calls when needed to confirm bookings, share payment details, or answer pending queries.
- • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, bookings, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by being courteous, responsive, and solution-oriented.
- • Coordinate with the operations team for any special requests or escalations.
Qualifications & Skills
- • Minimum 1+ year of experience in telecalling, customer service, or hospitality (preferably in travel/hotel bookings).
- • Fluent in written and spoken English – must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
- • Proficiency in Kannada and Hindi (spoken) to assist regional guests.
- • Ability to understand guest needs and match them with the right property.
- • Basic computer literacy (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets).
- • Patience, active listening skills, and professional phone etiquette.
- • Comfortable working from office 6 days a week.
Good to Have (Added Advantage)
- • Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or hotel booking roles.
- • Familiarity with hotel booking systems or OTAs (Online Travel Agencies).
- • Knowledge of Bangalore and surrounding tourist destinations.
- • Experience handling high call volumes in a structured environment.
